Megalab
Megalab is the first medical laboratory in the region to be awarded JCI accreditation, achieving this milestone on July 24, 2022
Mega Laboratory is the first medical laboratory in the Caucasus region delivering a comprehensive spectrum of diagnostic testing — including services that were previously unavailable in Georgia.
Beyond routine laboratory examinations, Mega Laboratory offers genetic, molecular and oncological research using high-capacity automated systems. It is also the first laboratory in the post-Soviet region to operate a digital pathology department, conducting pathological and morphological studies to international standards.
On 24 July 2022, Mega Laboratory received JCI accreditation — the gold standard in healthcare quality. On 11 July 2024, the Unified National Accreditation Body awarded the laboratory ISO certification.
GHG invested 20 million GEL to build the largest laboratory in the region.
