Giorgi Alpaidze

Giorgi Alpaidze

Giorgi Alpaidze is a finance professional with extensive international experience in banking, accounting, and corporate finance. He joined BGEO Group in 2016 as Head of Finance, Funding, and Investor Relations, later serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), where he played a key role in financial strategy and investor relations. Previously, he was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP’s Greater New York City assurance practice.  He holds a BBA from the European School of Management in Georgia and is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

 

 

George Chiladze

George Chiladze

Mr Chiladze possesses extensive international experience in financial risk management and strategic leadership. He launched his career in New York City at the investment bank Bear Stearns, later transitioning to Georgia, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the local business landscape. Throughout his career, Mr Chiladze was appointed as Deputy CEO, Chief Risk Officer of JSC Bank of Georgia in September 2013. He re-joined the Bank having already served as Deputy CEO, Finance from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Mr Chiladze was Deputy CEO at the Partnership Fund, and he served as General Director of BTA Bank (Georgia) from 2005 to 2008.

Beyond the corporate sphere, Mr Chiladze brings a strong entrepreneurial background as a founding partner of the management consulting firm Altergroup Ltd. He holds a PhD in Physics from Johns Hopkins University (USA), an academic foundation that underpins his exceptional analytical approach to managing complex business processes and strategic challenges.

Mariam Titberidze

Mariam Titberidze

Mariam started her career as group lawer at BGEO Group in 2017 before transitioning to Georgia Capital, where she held the position of Senior Corporate Lawyer from 2018 to 2025. Prior to joining BGEO Group, she practiced law at a leading Georgian law firm. Mariam has extensive experience in M&A transactions, commercial and corporate law, private equity investments, and project financing. She holds an LL.M. (with Merit) in Transborder Commercial Law from Riga Graduate School of Law and an LL.B. from Tbilisi State University. Mariam is a member of the Georgian Bar Association.

Gigi Getia

Gigi Getia

Gigi Getia joined BGEO Group PLC in 2017 as an Investment Officer and subsequently held senior investment roles at Georgia Capital. He later worked at Lombardi Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund and has also worked at T. Rowe Price, before re-joining Georgia Capital. He holds a Master’s in Finance from London Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.

Efrem Urumashvili

Efrem Urumashvili is a highly accomplished professional with extensive expertise in financial law, taxation, and strategic corporate management. As a Managing Partner at the law firm Nodia, Urumashvili & Partners, he is recognized as a leading expert in domestic and international taxation, tax disputes, and transfer pricing—distinctions highlighted by his ranking as a leading individual in Legal 500. His influence extends beyond private practice into economic policy, where he contributes to the Tax Explanation Commission at the Revenue Service and provides strategic counsel to the Association of Banks of Georgia. Mr Urumashvili's professional journey includes significant executive roles within major financial institutions, most notably at Bank of Georgia, where he led the taxation, accounting, and finance divisions. His leadership experience also encompasses serving as CEO of Galt & Taggart and acting as the official representative for the global technology leader Bitfury Group in Georgia.
He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Audit from Tbilisi State University, with his professional perspective further enriched by specialized international training at the IBFD International Tax Academy and OECD.
