Over the years, Georgia Healthcare Group has grown significantly to become one of the country's leading healthcare providers, largely driven by the implementation of a centralized management model and increased operational efficiency. The company was one of the first organizations in Georgia to introduce a regional cluster model and a referral hierarchy system, ensuring effective coordination within a unified management framework for various medical facilities. Today, the "Group" operates with a vertically integrated structure in Georgia's rapidly growing, predominantly private healthcare market, offering patients a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical services. The company's activities span four core business lines: Large and Specialty Hospitals, Regional and Community Hospitals, the outpatient clinic network ("Evex"), and diagnostic services ("Mega Laboratory"). The Group's operational model is based on a regional cluster structure and a referral hierarchy, ensuring efficient patient redirection from primary care to specialized hospitals. This process is further supported by a specialized ambulance service, which ensures the timely and coordinated transportation of patients to the appropriate medical facilities.
Georgia Healthcare Group provides accessible, high-quality, and patient-oriented medical services across Georgia. The Group plays a systemically important role in strengthening Georgia's healthcare infrastructure. This scale enables us to provide both broad geographical accessibility and significant social impact. Our activities are not limited to medical service delivery; sustainability is an integral part of our strategy. The Group operates in full compliance with international accreditation standards and continuously invests in medical education, digital transformation, and clinical quality improvement. By implementing a Social Bond Framework that aligns with the ICMA Social Bond Principles, we reaffirm our commitment to responsible financing and measurable social impact. Georgia Healthcare Group's operations are based on an integrated approach to financial sustainability, social responsibility, and environmental care. By modernizing infrastructure, increasing operational efficiency, and reducing environmental impact, we create long-term value for patients, employees, partners, and the country. As a leading healthcare platform, we continue to develop a sustainable, innovative, and inclusive healthcare system that improves the quality of life for both today's and future generations.
"GHG" is consistently focused on obtaining international quality standards and accreditations to ensure high-quality medical services across all business lines and to integrate international best practices. This approach reflects the company's strategic focus on improving clinical quality and developing patient-centered services.
Our hospital business is the largest in the Georgian healthcare market, accounting for 15% of the country's total bed capacity as of December 31, 2025. Across Tbilisi and major regional centers, the network unites 35 medical facilities, providing comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic, and surgical medical services.
To improve efficiency and leverage opportunities arising from new state regulations introduced in 2023, our healthcare business underwent a strategic reorganization in December 2023. As a result of this restructuring, the hospital business was divided into two independent segments: "Large and Specialty Hospitals" (comprising 7 medical facilities under the "Vian" brand) and "Regional and Community Hospitals" (comprising 28 medical facilities under the "Clinics of Georgia" brand). Additionally, regional and community hospitals now include community medical centers that previously operated within the Clinics and Diagnostics business. This transition was seamless for patients, while business operations continued without interruption.
The Clinics and Diagnostics business currently consists of two segments: 16 polyclinics and one diagnostic center. The clinics are located in Tbilisi and major regional cities, providing outpatient, diagnostic, and treatment services. This division is a leader in the outpatient sector, holding a 25% market share based on the number of registered patients.
The Group's activities include comprehensive healthcare services for individuals of all ages, focusing on continuous service enhancement across its multidisciplinary hospitals. As the sole provider in the region, the Group offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: oncology, pediatric oncology (specialized care for children with various oncological disorders), bone marrow transplantation, gender reassignment surgery, and extracorporeal fertilization (surrogacy). The diagnostics business began operations in 2018 with the opening of "Megalab," the largest laboratory in the Caucasus region. This multi-profile laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern technology, covers an area of 7,500 square meters. Alongside basic laboratory tests, Megalab offers patients oncological, genetic, and molecular studies—some of which were previously unavailable in Georgia, necessitating the shipment of blood samples abroad. In July 2022, Megalab earned the JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation. JCI is the highest healthcare accreditation body in the US, ensuring proper clinical process management with the goal of continuous improvement in patient care quality and safety. Megalab is the first JCI-accredited laboratory in the Caucasus region and ranks 38th worldwide with this status.
